Frequently Asked Questions
Booking
How do I book?
You can book all of our items through the website. Please select the item you would like and click on the 'Book Now' button. If you would like more than 1 item, you can add these to your booking before completing it. If you would like an unavailable item, there will be alternatives shown underneath.
How long does the hire last?
We can deliver anytime from 8.30am, and the latest standard collection we offer is 7pm. When you place your booking just let us know the party start and finish times. If you would like to keep the items up to 9pm there is a charge of £35.
Do you hire overnight?
Overnight hires are available at a private venue for £50. The hirer is responsible for the items at all times between delivery and collection. We will not leave items overnight in a public area, only on private property.
How much notice do you need for a booking?
We only ask for a 25% payment to secure your booking so please book as soon as you have confirmed the date to avoid disappointment. We are often fully booked a few weeks in advance, or further in the summer months. Bookings can be made 24/7 through our website. If you would like to make a booking with less than 48 hours' notice, please give me a ring to discuss your requirements and any last-minute availability.
When are your bouncy castles available?
Our items are available 362 days of the year. Unfortunately, we don't work on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
Will you send me a confirmation of the booking?
Yes. Please check that all of the details on this confirmation e-mail are correct, and notify us as soon as possible if they are not. If you can't see this e-mail in your inbox, please check your spam mail.
Delivery
When will you deliver and collect?
We will deliver the items booked for the start of your event and collect them at the end. When you book, you will be asked for the times of your event. The latest standard collection we offer is 7 pm. If you would like to keep the items up to 9pm there is a charge of £35. Overnight hires are available at a private venue for £50. If we are running late for any reason, we will be in touch as soon as we know to keep you updated. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances, (such as traffic accidents), do happen and can cause delays. Please ensure that you give us a contact number for the day when you book.
How long does it take to set up and pack away the equipment?
We ask for 30 minutes to set up a Bouncy Castle or Soft Play set and about the same to pack it away. If the access isn't straightforward (e.g. the parking space is away from the venue, or we need to use a lift), this will increase the time. If you have selected multiple items, we will need a bit longer. Please ensure that your venue is booked for an adequate period to set up before and after your event.
How much space do I need for a Bouncy Castle?
You need to ensure that the space for the Bouncy Castle is at least 6 ft wider than the inflatable you choose and 10 ft longer. This space allows room for the inflation tube at the back and the crash mats at the front. All of the sizes are given on the website.
Payment
What does the prices include?
The prices shown on the website include the item/s you have chosen (e.g. Bouncy Castle or Soft Play) and any other items necessary for these to operate safely (e.g. safety mats). We deliver free to LA10. Outside of these areas, there is a small delivery charge. These charges are shown as you progress through your booking.
Do you offer any discounts or special offers?
Take a look at our Special Offers page for more details.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we ask for a non-refundable booking fee which is 25% of your booking. This payment is taken off your balance. Your booking won't be confirmed until the deposit has been received.
How do I pay?
Initial payments can be made through the website when you make your booking. Otherwise, this can be paid by bank transfer or card. You will receive an e-mail with these payment details and your booking details. The final balance is due 24 hours before your party or one week before a wedding.
What if I need to cancel?
- Bookings under £200 - If the hirer cancels giving at least 28 days' notice, the 25% booking fee can be moved to a new date. Cancellations 7-27 days before the booking will have the 25% deposit retained and any further balance will be refunded. Cancellations less than 7 days will be liable for the whole hire costs.
- Bookings over £200 - If the hirer cancels giving at least 28 days' notice, the 25% booking fee can be moved to a new date. Cancellations 14-27 days before the booking will have the 25% deposit retained and any further balance will be refunded. Cancellations within less than 14 days will be liable for the whole hire costs.
- If the weather forecast deems it unsafe to put inflatables outside (heavy rain or gusts over 24mph) the balance can be transferred to another date within 12 months, or you can swap the reserved items for others that are not affected by the weather, or for items that can go indoors, subject to the minimum order value.
Practicalities
Where can I put the Bouncy castle?
We need a flat area to place the Castle, either indoors or on grass. We are unable to site an inflatable on hard standing, such as tarmac or a patio. You need a space 10 ft longer than the Castle and 6 ft wider to allow for the safety matting and safe anchorage. The Castle needs to be within 50m of an electricity point, or you will need to book a generator.
What if it is bad weather?
We will not set the equipment up outdoors if the weather forecast is heavy rain or wind gusts over 24mph. We will ring you as soon as we know that it won't be safe to put the items outdoors, and you can either choose items to go indoors or change the date. The deposit is non-refundable. However, you can move it to a new date within 12 months.
Can you set up on hard standing, e.g. tarmac or a patio?
No. Only on grass or indoors.
Can you deliver the items through the house?
We can but we prefer not to. We transport the Castles on a sack cart due to their weight, which would need to come through your house. We wouldn't want to cause any damage manoeuvring around your furniture. If you need us to go through the house, please be aware that you need to ensure there is plenty of space, and we won't be held responsible for any damage.
Is there an age limit for your items?
Each item has its own age limits. These are shown on the product page.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we do. If you would like a copy for your peace of mind or your venue requests it, we will be happy to send a copy over once you have booked.
Who is liable for the equipment during the hire?
The equipment is the hirer's responsibility during the rental. If any damage is caused or items are missing or stolen, you will be charged for these unless you take our Damage Waiver. You can view this here.
