Terms & Conditions
Bookings
- Hirers must be aged 18 years or over. Identification may be required.
- All payments can be made by card or bank transfer. Cheques may be accepted from charities and schools by prior arrangement. Bookings are confirmed once payment has cleared.
- We will need approximately 30 minutes to set up the party and 30 minutes to pack up and remove the equipment. If you have booked multiple items, this period will increase. Please take this into account when booking venue times. Please ensure there is adequate parking for a large van as close as possible to the access point at the delivery and collection times. If there are any gates or barriers, you must ensure these are open to allow access for a large van.
- It is the hirers' responsibility to check there is adequate space for the items reserved. All our space requirements are clearly stated on each item. If the equipment will not fit, you will still be liable for 100% of the hire costs.
- It is the hirers' responsibility to point out / mark any underground services where the inflatables are to be sited. Our anchor stakes are 380mm long and services should be deeper. However, on private property, this isn't always the case. We will not be held liable for any damage caused to underground services that we aren't pre-warned about.
- Hardy's Events Ltd will only hire on flat, grassed areas, or inside a venue/ home. If you would like an inflatable on Astroturf we need the written permission of the landowner as we will need to put pegs through the turf which will leave holes. We do not offer any hires on hardstanding.
- Overnight hires are only available at private venues where the garden is secure. Overnight outdoor hires are not available in public venues such as hotels and community centres. Hardy's Events Ltd reserve the right to refuse hire if our equipment is at any security risk. One form of photo identification will be required for all overnight hires.
- Public liability insurance is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee, whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
- Hardy's Events Ltd excludes any liability for injury, loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to our terms & conditions.
- The equipment remains the property of Hardy's Events Ltd and any losses or damage to the equipment, liability for injuries or other losses caused rests solely with the hirer. It is strongly recommended that the hirer has appropriate public liability insurance, covering his/her liability arising from the use of our equipment.
Damage Waiver
- A Damage Waiver charge amounting to 10% of the hire charge will be automatically added to the hire contract unless the Hirer specifically requests this is removed or if the Provider is unable to offer Damage Waiver at the time of order. For full details click here.

- If the weather forecast deems it unsafe to put inflatables outside (heavy rain or gusts over 24mph) the balance can be transferred to another date within 12 months, or you can swap the reserved items for others that are not affected by the weather, or for items that can go indoors, subject to the minimum order value.
